CNC Plasma Cutting

Offering both contract and prototype CNC plasma cutting services, Rubingers Manufacturing Co. features a single head gantry torch and can cut up to 1.5" in plate thickness. We also feature an 8' by 20' bed, and can accommodate a range of applications, from heavy duty vehicle components, to signs, tanks, and pipes. Rubingers Manufacturing Co. offers both contract and prototype CNC plasma cutting, and can handle low to high volumes, and large scale production runs. Cutting Action Type

CNC

CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. The cutting head is controlled by a set of numerical instructions that can be altered by the operator by way of a software load program.

Cutting Axis

Cutting Axis is the number of axes of motion a cutting machine is capable of cutting. 2-axis machines are used to cut flat sheet material while a 3-axis machine is used to cut three dimensional parts. Some 5-axis and 6-axis machines can perform cutting operations on parts that have been pre-formed by casting or machining.
