Featuring a full five axis gantry water jet operating at 92,000 psi, Rubingers Manufacturing Co. is equipped to handle contract and water jet cutting projects in both low and high production volumes. Capable of cutting materials up to 8 inches in thickness and offering a 13' by 19.6' bed, we offer both water combined with abrasive material and water only cutting options, and can accommodate a wide range of intended applications, from flanges to tanks and tubing. And because our water jet features kerf compensating heads, we can control kerf while offering extreme precision and quality, with a tight tolerance of +/- .001 inches. Cutting Axis

Cutting Axis is the number of axes of motion a cutting machine is capable of cutting. 2-axis machines are used to cut flat sheet material while a 3-axis machine is used to cut three dimensional parts. Some 5-axis and 6-axis machines can perform cutting operations on parts that have been pre-formed by casting or machining.
